PERSONALIZED PERFORMANCE TRAINING

Welcome to STAT Athletics, a provider of SAQ (Speed, Agility, and Quickness) training designed to unlock athletic potential through programs rooted in the Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model. Our focus is on building faster, more agile, and more explosive athletes by aligning training with each stage of physical and athletic growth.

Whether you’re introducing movement fundamentals to young beginners, sharpening high-performance athletes, or supporting adult fitness goals, our evidence-based programs are tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Speed is at the heart of everything we do, because in sport—and in life—speed changes the game.

Join us and experience the power of purposeful progression, where long-term development meets immediate results.

WHAT WE TEACH…

  • Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) promotes optimal growth and performance at every stage of life, from childhood through late adulthood.

When applied to Speed Training, the model begins with the development of fundamental movement skills in younger athletes, progressively introducing more complex techniques as they mature.

As athletes age, the focus shifts to enhancing sport-specific skills, with an emphasis on explosive speed, agility, and quick reactions.

Crucially, LTAD is beneficial throughout life, including into late adulthood, as maintaining SAQ training can improve mobility, balance, and coordination, contributing to better physical health and quality of life long after peak athletic years.

This lifelong approach ensures that individuals can stay active, reduce injury risk, and improve functional movement at any age.

  • Youth performance training is a specialized program designed to enhance the athletic abilities of young individuals through age-appropriate strength, speed, agility, and endurance exercises.

It focuses on building a solid foundation of movement mechanics, injury prevention, and overall physical literacy while promoting confidence and a positive mindset.

Tailored to different stages of development, the training emphasizes proper technique and progression to support both general fitness and sport-specific performance, helping youth reach their full potential in a safe and supportive environment.

  • Speed, Agility, and Quickness (SAQ) training is a performance-focused workout method designed to enhance an athletes ability to move rapidly and efficiently in various directions.

We incorporate a combination of drills that improve reaction time, foot speed, coordination, and explosive power.

Typically used in sports like football, soccer, and basketball, SAQ training includes exercises such as ladder drills, cone drills, plyometrics, and sprints.

The goal is to develop faster movement patterns, sharper directional changes, and better overall athletic performance.

  • Focuses on improving an athlete’s ability to accelerate, sprint, and maintain top-end speed in a straight line.

This type of training emphasizes explosive starts, proper running mechanics, stride length and frequency, and overall sprinting efficiency.

Exercises often include sprint drills, resisted sprints, plyometrics, and strength training targeting the lower body and core.

By enhancing neuromuscular coordination and power output, linear speed training is essential for athletes in sports that require quick busts of straight-ahead speed, such as track and field, football, and soccer.

  • Focuses on developing the athleticism, technique, and mental sharpness required for positions like quarterback, wide receiver, tight end, running back, and defensive back.

These athletes engage in position-specific drills that emphasize, speed, agility, route-running, catching, footwork, reaction time, and play recognition.

Quarterbacks refine their throwing mechanics, footwork, and decision-making, while receivers and running backs work on ball security, acceleration, and separation from defenders. Defensive backs train to improve coverage skills, hip flexibility, and ball-tracking.

Strength training, film-study, and situational awareness are also key components to elevate overall performance and football IQ.

“Our mission is to empower all athletes by developing their speed, agility, and overall athletic performance in a positive, disciplined, and inspiring environment. We strive to build confidence, resilience, and a love for movement that fuels success both on and off the field.”
